What lures should I use for fishing off a pier in Lake Michigan? I have basically everything I just don’t know what I should use.
Ask at the nearest bait shop. If anything is being caught out there they would be the only ones willing to tell what lure to use.

Deep sea offshore saltwater game sport fishing trip video trolling adventure in Miami Beach, Florida USA (not Abu Dhabi Dubai Fujairah UAE Oman Kuwait Bahrain Doha or Bimini Bahamas) in the Atlantic Ocean, catching Little Tunny (Bonito) tuna. I went out fishing on a party boat. We drifted bait out on flat lines and with sinkers and hooked up to many fish over the local reefs. Frigate birds were flying overhead chasing our bait and catch. Chris showed us how to fillet a tuna. Please rate my videos and leave a comment. Fish On !

This is always a hot topic. There are other lures that come close, but I believe over the last 10 years, nothing has caught more fish than the “senko” style worms. Everyone has their personal preference on which is the best, I’ve had great luck with the Yum Dinger. I think the dinger has the best combination of durability, performance, and price.

In regards to non-braided fishing line, I’m trying to find out which line would be best for muddy/murky waters. I can’t seem to find brown Fishing Line (I’ve heard simply matching water color to line color works best). Fluorocarbon sounds like it would work, but then none of the facts I have read about its refractive index seems to mention what occurs when its used in different water conditions. Color and brand recommendationsof all sorts are welcome.
Maxima has a line that is a brown color called Chameleon. Spiderwire also has a line called super mono xxx in a brown recluse color. I can vouch for the Maxima brand as being a great line but the Spiderwire one I have never tried.
In the conditions you talk about a line that is a camo color would also work. There is a really good one made by Suffix and it is called Suffix Siege camo line. There are some other companies that make a camo line but I never tried them. Even just a low visibility green line will work in the conditions you talk of.
