I have some fake Fishing Bait, but when i first got it it was slimy and had a smell to it. after i handled to much much it all went away.
I have heard WD40 works well but im not sure

Pro-Cure bait scents. They are the absolute best and I personally guarantee you will catch more fish than ever. Another alternative is Gulp! Alive. It also works very well. I would say get a Ragetail product and put Pro-Cure bait scent on it. Good luck!
